Admissions

We admit children using the Hertfordshire guidelines and criteria. Parents/carers of children living in Hertfordshire can make an online application via the Hertfordshire County Council website – www.hertfordshire.gov.uk/admissions or contact the Customer Service Centre on 0300 123 4043 for a paper application form. Parents should return the application form direct to the County Council. Parents/carers of children not living in Hertfordshire must make an application to their local authority.

Application process for applying for a Reception place for September 2024 –  The application process for applying for a Reception place for September 2024 for children born between 1 September 2019 and 31st August 2020 will be open on Wednesday 1st November 2023.  All the information you need to apply is available on the Hertfordshire County Council  website at www.hertfordshire.gov.uk/admissions.  The closing date for applications is Monday 15th January 2024.

In Year Admissions

Peartree Spring Primary School remains part of Hertfordshire County Council’s coordinated In Year Admissions Scheme. In Year applications to Peartree Spring Primary School are administered by Hertfordshire County Council on behalf of the school’s governing body. Parents/carers of children living in Hertfordshire can make an online application via the Hertfordshire County Council website www.hertfordshire.gov.uk/admissions or contact the Customer Service Centre on 0300 123 4043 for a paper application form. Parents should return the application form direct to the County Council. Parents/carers of children not living in Hertfordshire must make an application to their local authority.

Please note we do not keep a waiting list, allocations are made by Hertfordshire County Council Admissions team.
